More Eggs ?
One more time......eggs! I promise this will be the last eggs post...well....at least until next year's Easter.
Noah and Ayla had a great time coloring eggs in to their favorite colors. It's pretty easy to do, you just dip the egg into a colorful liquid ( water and food color), keep it in there for a while and voila....It's done

Early Easter Egg Hunt
Next week during Easter we will be away on holiday to Phuket . Since we were not sure if the Easter bunny would come all the way to Thailand to visit us, we decided to have some early Easter celebrations at our house for the kids.
On Friday morning Noah and Ayla were hunting the house for eggs . On the photos you can see that the hunt was pretty successful.....

No More Training Wheels !
Since the Christmas break Noah and I have 'trained' hard to learn how to ride a bike on 2 wheels..... without the little training wheels.
Yeah, it was hard work for me too because I had to run next to him to make sure that he wouldn't crash and hurt himself. Believe me I lost a lot of sweat running laps around the park. After a slow start he made steady progres and the other day he suddenly said...I think we can throw the training wheels away...I don't need them anymore ............MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Ayla loves to ride her bike (and the motor bike.....) too, but she will still be on 4 wheels for a while......

Reading to Noah's class
This morning I went to school with Noah to read a couple of books to the kids in his class.
Often parents come in to read to the kids, but for me its difficult because I work at a different campus, which is pretty far from Noah's campus. Also I never read or talk to Noah in English, so this time I had to make an exception.
I read 2 books, one about dinosaurs and one funny one about Grover from Sesame Street. The kids loved it and it was fun to do!

Home alone with 2 kids
For the first time, since the kids were born Sue was away from the kids for a longer period of time. She had to attend a conference in SanDiego and including traveling time this meant that she would be away for a whole week. So far she had been away from them once for 2 nights. So this was pretty difficult for her. We expected it to be difficult for the kids too, but they turned out to be just fine. We actuallly had a great week together and it was nice for a change to have their full attention....instead of them focussing on mama all the time.....especially Noah can be a real mama's boy.
I actually think that the separation was harder for Sue than it was for the kids.........
Of course we were all very happy when she came back to us yesterday.
