First Tennis Lesson

Noah has started tennis lessons at JIS with Pak Bennie.

He has had 2 lessons now and he loves it. He keeps asking...when is my next lesson?

According to Pak Bennie he is very talented but I am sure that Bennie says that to all his parents.....Noah does have very goood hand-eye coordination and loves to whack those balls.

We just want our kids to try out as many different sports as possible. Later...when they are a bit older they can continue with the sports that they really like.

Bali

After Christmas we flew to Bali. We stayed in Seminyak for a week before switching to Nusa Lembongan.
At the Nusa Lembongan Resort we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. We got married there on Jan 4, 2002.
It was great to be back at the place of which we have such fond memories.
Our Stay at Nusa Lembongan was probably the highlight of our trip. It still is an amazing place!

Christmas Brunch at the Four Seasons

On Christmas day we enjoyed a fantastic brunch with group of friends at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Noah and Laurens Reunited

We spent most of our Christmas holiday with my brother Arjen and his family in Jakarta and Bali.

Noah loves his big cousin Laurens! And they both love being pampered at the salon!

Ayla served at school

The kids in Ayla's class enjoyed a very special christmas dinner at school.
Four dads dressed up in tuxedos served them their meal and their drinks to make this a very memorable dinner.
Most kids loved it, but of course Ayla didnt want to have anything to do with those strange men....and she sat on the teacher's lap the whole time.

I just realized that it has been over a month since my last blog update, so here we go!

First of all there was my birthday. We kept it pretty low key and just went out for dinner with some friends aand their kids at Amigos, a local Mexican restaurant. It is very casual and the kids usual love it when the band starts to play.
