Ayla's Party

Ayla's birthday party was held at school. It was great and the kids had a fantastic time. They played hard on the field, the playgroud, the tricycle area and did lots of arts and crafts in Sue's class room.

Our little baby turned 4 a couple of weeks ago. It's hard to believe that she is already 4 years old. Time has gone by too fast.

I was able to take the morning off and to spend some time with Ayla in her class at the NIS. It was a fun morning with an amazing teacher, who was able to control 22 4 and 5 year olds with no apparent effort. I was very impressed!

Noah bij Arsenal

A while ago I entered a post about Noah playing football at Arsenal Jakarta. Since he started playing for Arsenal he has improved so much and it really is a lot of fun now to watch him play. He is totally into it and he is very fanatic about everything soccer related. He watches as many matches as possible on TV, he knows all the star players and he 'reads' my soccer magazines about 20 times before putting them away.

Family Fun Fair

Last Saturday we had the Family Fun Fair at JIS. Not exactly our favorite event of the year....it is usually so hot, sticky and crowded , which makes it hard to enjoy. On the other hand the kids love it. They get wet, go on rides, play games and have a great time. So we still go there, just to see the kids having a good time.

Easter 2009

Every year the Geurtens organize an Easter Party in and around their house in Bintaro.

It is always a fun event for the kids with lots of activities organized by TRacy and Rob. This year the kids painted eggs, made bunny faces and of course there was the egg hunt.
