Noah's Soccer Season

In January Noah's soccer season started here for the Coca Cola League. That is a competition between school in Jakarta, sponsored by Coca Cola. Noah plays for the JIS PIE U8 team.

So far they have played 5 league matches and won all of them. On Sunday they also beat the Japanse Club 7-2 to reach the quarter finals of the Cup.

'Rats' in the House

For the longest time Ayla and Noah have wanted different kinds of pets.
We have tried to keep them happy with fish....didnt really work
Then we got a rabbit ( twice)...they both died in no time
Then we got a cat...who is still alive, but Sue doesnt want her in the house because she is allergic to cats..so not much of a cuddly pet.

Now one of Noah's friends' hamsters' had babies and they begged us to have one. So here we go again.......Pet # 4 !

So now we have 2 small 'rats' in the house. Let's see how long they 'll last......you never know with a cat in the neighbourhood..... :-)

Soccer Kids

We have known for a while how crazy Noah is about soccer, but now it looks like Ayla has also been affected by the soccer virus.

Last Saturday she had her first training and she loved it.

She even managed to score 2 goals in her first match. Do we have another goal scorer in the family?
We will see......time will tell!
