Ayla takes the bus

Ayla started taking the school bus to school. She sits and waits at 7:00 at the gate patiently for the bus to pick her up.
She loves it........and so does her mum, who doesnt have to put up with her morning moods anymore. So it's a win-win situation for all.... :-)

Another Championship !

Noah's soccer team won the Jakarta School Soccer League after beating main rivals BIS 4-1 in their last league match of the season. We can even win the double if we manage to win the Cup as well. Semi finals for the CUP will be played on April 2nd.

Father-Daughter Dance

Ayla joined the girls scouts this year and one of their special events during the year is always the FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE.

For me and Ayla it was the first time. It really was a very special event and I was happy I could share this with my little baby girl! The girls were dressed up like princesses and most of the dads were in tuxedos.

The whole set up was really cool. The gym at JIS was changed into a 5 star hotel ball room.
There was red carpet at the entrance for the special guests and as soon as you came in the paparazzi were waiting to take your picture with or without a big "OSCAR' statue in the back ground.

The food was exquisite, the music was great and all dads and their girls danced the night away.

Definitely a night to remember !!

Pedicure at home

Most people have to go to the salon to get a pedicure but I can get mine at home.

Ayla does the whole works....cleaning, washing, shaving, cutting. massage and of course the highlight...for her....nail polishing.
And she charges for all this only Rp.5,000.


Boy, am I lucky !
