DD4

For the past 4 years now we have been going on a Daddy&Daughter's trip with 4 dads ( Butch, Mark, Scotty and myself) and our daughters.
This year we decided to go to Lombok and the Gili Islands for a 4 day weekend. It was another great funfilled weekend for the girls with lots of sun, water, beach, pool , good food and laughter.

JIS Race

Two weekends ago Noah and ran 5 k in the JIS road race. This was the first time that we did this and to he honest...I wasn't looking forward to it that much. I am not really much of a runner...but Noah on the other hand is...so I 'sacrificed' myself and signed up to run with him.
It wasn't actually that bad and we both managed to make it to the finish line. Until the 2.5 k mark we ran together. After that Noah left me and never looked back. He finished in just over 26 minutes...it took me a couple of minutes more but we both made it. It actually felt pretty good...crossing that finish line.

The Lorax

Ayla has been rehearsing really hard for her first ever theater production. She played a big role in the musical THE LORAX.
Last week  they had their performance in front of a packed house in the JIS Little Theater
It was a fun show and Ayla did really well !!
