All Dutch kids walk on wooden shoes, dont they? Isn't that what a lot of foreigners think about us? Well.....it's not exactly like that anymore. Very few kids actually wear them nowadays.
But we are keeping the old tradition going and both Noah and Ayla love to walk on 'klompen'. (Clogs)
Unfortunately Noah has outgrown his and we need to buy him a bigger pair this summer. Ayla wears hers all the time and walks in and around the house all the time proudly, showing off her wooden shoes.
I guess they love the sound of them.......or maybe it is it a genes thing after all....??.
