This was a rare opportunity to take a picture of Ayla with her hair braided. She normally refuses to have anything done to her hair, this to my wife's despair, who loves to 'cuten' her up with all kids of 'thingies' in her hair. Ayla just hates it !So when she had her hair like this, I had to run to get my camera, take the picture fast, because I knew that it wouldn't last long. Five minutes later the braids were gone.

I discovered your blog via Google (well, almost everything is Google, today), and I recognized your father, (his picture is in your log at 11-07-2007, and it shows up in Google Images, just looking for Sietsma) my father’s brother. I am a son of Siebe and Jannie.
I was just looking around in the www, if I could find something about our fathers uncle K. Sietsma (from Amsterdam, who died in 1942 in Dachau) on the internet. I ended up putting myself his picture in my weblog. I wanted to tell your father (Tijmen), because he might be interested.
