Basketball

Last Saturday Noah finished his basketball season. He really had a good time and he learned a lot about the game. This was originally a grade one activity but since they didnt have enough kids they allowed some Kindergarten kids to participate as well.
Noah did well amongst the big kids and even managed to score some baskets during the season.

Wednesday Night Soccer

Ever since I came to Jakarta I have played in the JIFL ( Jakarta International Football League). This is a league for expats in Jakarta and usually 10-11 teams participate in it. It is played like a regular league with home and away ties, but since we have the best ( artificial) pitch in Jakarta and none of our matches ever get cancelled, we get to play all of our matches at home. Which is pretty nice.
What is also nice, is the fact that we play all our matches on Wednesday evenings and we can avoid playing in the heat on a Saturday afternoon.

After the match we always stay around.... to hang out, to chat and to have some nice cold beers.

Wednesday nights are pretty cool!

Noah's Work Share

Last week Sue and I were invited by Noah to come to his class and watch his music performance and to look at his school work. This is called 'Work Share' and the nice part is the fact that the students lead the parents around and show and tell them everything about their work in class.

We had actually 2 kids instead of one, since Noah's friend Matisse was staying in our house for a few days. Both of his parents were out of the country. So both boys shared their work with us. Great Stuff!
