 Yes it is true ! We have adopted a new family member. It is a girl and her name is:
COCO !!
We finally 'gave in' to the pressure from our kids ....... :-)

Bali

For the first time we went to Bali this year with family of......5 !! Laurens our 'stepson' joined us.

Needless to say that we had an awesome time !

A Musician in the Family?

The Sietsma family is not known for producing any kind of talented musicians.

I guess it is just not in our genes...

But wait........Ayla just started guitar lessons and her teacher said that she was good and talented.

Really? Could it be true? Ha !

IASAS Bangkok 2012

The JIS Varsity boys soccer season ended with their IASAS tournament in Bangkok.
The boys did great.......we were the only undefeated team in the tournament........unfortunately we missed the final by 1 point.
We ended up with bronze after crushing Taipeh 6-0 in the consolation game.
I miss those guys already!!

Noah and Ayla in JYS

Noah and Ayla are both currently playing for JYS teams. Noah plays for team Indonesia in the U11 division and Ayla plays for team Cameroon in the U9 division.
JYS is a more recreational league....its a nice w-up leading up to the coca cola league, which starts in December. This is the Jakarta youth football league between schools.
