Summer 3 - USA Florida

After a few lazy days...we seem to have a lot of those :-)....we have adjusted to the new time zone and we have been up and about to get to know the area. Also Adam and Maria have arrived from Rhode Island with their little one Mya.
On Thursday we went to the Lithia Springs National Park and yesterday we had a great family day at of the many amusement parks in Florida Adventure  Island.

Summer 2 USA Florida

We have arrived in the US safely and we are staying at Kathy and Jim's new place in Valrico, Florida. This is a small town just east of Tampa. So this is our first trip to Florida after going to New Hampshire for the past 13 years. A nice change of scene for us.... but boy...it's hot here. It even hotter than Jakarta. Fortunately there are rain and thunderstorms almost every day to cool things down.

Summer 1 Holland Last Night

Our last night in Holland we stayed at our friends' Marijke and Peter's place in Amsterdam. It was nice to catch up with them and to drink some good wine.

Summer 1 Holland

Our first stop this summer was in Apeldoorn in Holland. We stayed  for 6 days with my brother and his family.

As always we had a good time with them and the highlight for the kids was the huge trampoline in the back garden. Ayla learned to do a front flip. Check out the video.

Indonesia v Netherlands

About 3 weeks ago the Netherlands national football team came to Jakarta to play against Indonesia in the national stadium. It was a real happening and we enjoyed watching the game with a bunch of Noah's JIS friends and some 80,000 others.

Mother's Day

A bit late....3 weeks ago we went out to a nice restaurant called Hacienda for dinner.
On of our last outings as a family of 5. Soon Lau will be flying back to Holland.... :-(
