Ayla's first gymnastics competition

On Saturday Ayla had her first ever gymnastics competition!
She was the youngest of all the participants. You can see her in her group holding up the letter B.
She did great and even managed to win 2 medals...a gold and a bronze.
Needless to day that we were very proud of our little girl!

Soccer Gala

Last Saturday it was CUP Final day and we had the End of the Season Gala of the JSFA football season 2010.
The JSFA put on a big 2 hour show during which the League and Cup winners were honored. I was very impressed with the show...there were performances...with drums...dancers...music...slideshows. There was a well known ESPN presenter and there was Franco Baresi (AC Milan legend), as special guest, to hand out some of the trophies.
We were there as league winners. Unfortunately we were knocked out of the cup(4-2)by the team that ended up winning it

It was a great day and the kids loved it!

Junior Athletics

Every Friday afternoon in spring Ayla and Noah are active in Junior Athletics.
This is a kind of track club for elementary kids. Last year Noah joined and this year also Ayla is old enough to do it. They just love it and have agreat time....running, jumping and throwing.
